I play clarinet and would like some help.?

My mother just got me a new clarinet it's still a student model, Gibson-Baldwin Epoch. I would like to know if this brand is any good? It's way better than my 6 year old Selmer , but I'd like to know if it's a good brand to be playing....as a high school student. I'm trying to save up for a professional model also. What brands are good? What mouthpieces would you recommend? I've been playing for 6 years. I'd also like to know what reeds you like... I prefer size 4 Mitchell Laurie reeds. Also what brand and style of ligatures are good. I'd really like to go and try different mouthpieces and clarinets and ligatures and such. I would really appreciate your help in this, I'm very serious about my playing and would like to have good instruments and parts to play on. Also what reeds to you recommend for Alto sax?

I want a fast internal HDD?

I have a 230 GB HDD that is pretty slow. I have a Dell Inspiron 580 with a core i7 2.8 GHz Processor and the default motherboard for the Inpiron 580. I have 4 GB of 667 MHZ ram and a 512 MB nVidia video card (forgot which one it was). My current HDD is the WD Caviar Blue 320 GB SATA Hard Drive (WD3200AAKS). That being said, what is the appropriate HDD to get that is fast. I DO NOT want an SSD and everything stored on my computer amounts to about 50GB. As you can see, I dont care much about size as long as its above 80GB. I just want performance. I have a budget of about $500, I need an HDD that has a fast avg read/write speed for HDD's. I was looking for HDD's with 15,000 RPM but I don't know which one to get. I need it to be optimized for gaming (specifically GTA and M Effect), the faster the better. Company is no difference to me, just so it fits in my Inspiron 580, and thanks to anyone who suggests some.

ok so this happened a while ago but i was wondering if u called ur friend Thursday night to see if she wanted to go to the movies with u on friday night and she said she would ask her mom and call u in the morning. then the next morning she doesn't call and in homeroom she says she doesn't think it'll work because her mom doesn't like unplanned stuff so ur a little confused because she didn't call u and it wasn't unplanned. then in study hall her and another friend are typing to each other on their laptops and turning the screen away from u then another friend tells u that she saw the screen and that they were planning on going to the movies that night (and they planned it that morning). so u and ur other friend start just ignoring them cuz u thought it was mean and then later on that friend that u tried to make plans with but said it was going to work tells u that she called in that morning but ur mom said that u had already left, but u know ur mom leaves way before u so u know she is lying...that's what happened to me and my friend and it's kind of resolved but ever since then she and another friend have been acting weird and we dont hang out as much...i'm not that mad that they made plans with each other but that they lied to me about it. so just tell me if u would be mad or if i was just being weird....thank u!!♥

Tips on how my band can be better? We've been harred a lot lately?

me and my band is really cool. concerts all the time. but lately weve been having some trouble. Last week at our concert, someone threw a wrench on stage. It almost hit our lead singer, Table. When is appropriate for the boyfriend's parents to meet my parents?

I've been dating a wonderful man for almost 6 months now. He's 25, I'm 23. He's the second serious relationship I've had. At this point, I would consider it in the "serious" category; in other words, we aren't "dating around," we are monogamous, we've discussed a possible future together, what we expect out of marriage, kids etc. I also know he probably means business because most guys his age bail after a month or two if they aren't serious about the relationship/or want casual dating etc. I've met his parents & he's met mine. He graduates from medical school in May. uming we're still together at that point, would it be a good time for the parents to meet (as I'm sure my parents would want to go to his graduation)? I know that graduation can be a hectic/stressful time for parents though as they prepare meals, get a party ready etc. So I'm not so sure if that would be ideal. Is it a good/bad idea to wait for them to meet til you're getting engaged? I know some people who have done that. Any input on this appreciated! I am trying to narrow a no start situation. New fuel pump,inline filter and i have fuel at the shrader valve seems to have proper presssure. Can i spray some starting fluid into the throttlebody it is a central(sfi) type system. I diddnt chek my ignition yet due to lack of equipment with me at the time. Going to verify good spark tomorrow. I was told the car will run but seems to be starving for fuel (lack of power) no stumbling or irratic symptoms. Going by my trusty ol Haynes manual it states that "the injectors are a non serviceable item". ok fine but will it be worth my while to check the filter behind the press. regulator? Any other pert. information regarding this particular engine would be a great help to me. By the way I replaced my injectors in a 1995 Chevy Astro van with a 4.3 liter cmfi type system. driftwood is fine, if you find it yourself just boil and clean it, also it can be purchased from most aquariums and if they are good it will be fine but you can always boil it to be safe. I have multiple pieces of wood in both my turtle and fish tanks and have never had a problem. As for the fish they are all good answers. i would get a few catfish as well (there are small ones avail) as they clean the tank and dont require much effort.

Things were GREAT but then I got smacked in the face with an unplanned pregnancy and refused to abort (which he was upset about). Anyone else living with fibromyalgia?

After a lot of tests, pain and even wrong diagnosis (I was told I had lupus), it was determined I had lymes disease and fibromyalgia. I've been living with it for two years, avoiding medication, but now the pain and flares are too frequent to not have some help. Water stops running after 10 minutes...well or well pump?

I just had a home inspection on a home I've signed the contract on. I had to leave before the end of the inspection, but the inspector called me and said that he had the water running (the home has a well) to do a septic tank test and after about 10 minutes, it would only dribble water. He said he turned it off and waited a little bit and turned it back on and it worked fine for about 10 minutes and then dribbled again. Does this "sound" like a problem with the actual well or maybe just the well pump needs to be replaced? Obviously I'm getting an inspection by a well professional, but I've just been wondering. If it's the actual well, I think I've lost my interest unless the seller will fix it, which he probably won't.

Hi, im nicholas and im 18 years old. Recently I met someone over the internet (24) who i really hit it off with. We talked for hours and hours and he had explained to me that he had a difficult life because he had children, I was really supportive of this and made it clear that i thoroughly respected and understood his responsibilities and he was very responsive to this. After days of chatting we agreed to meet and were both really excited as we got on so well. I had finally felt like I found someone who was right for me. We met up and instantly i was struck by how attractive he was in person, which unfortunately made me act immaturely as a confidence mechanism and portrayed myself as a bit overly y. After a while he had said he thought i was really friendly, funny, smart and good looking however voicing the fact he wasn't sure if he wanted a relationship because I had such a youthful personality.He also said he was unsure because we were at such different places in out lives. This hit me hard and i immediately appologised and began to act like myself. There was no way I was letting someone that perfect get away. As I relaxed i found him easier to be with and we got on well. However because he is a person who lacks confidence I found it hard to strike some chemistry between us and get a spark alight. Eventually we cuddled and it seemed great, I really did like him so much. We kissed aswell and that was good too, if not a bit awkward. I lost some confidence, thinking it was to do with my image perhaps, but i called him and he was happy to explain that he just didnt feel the spark and thought it wouldn't work simply and he has a 'very clear vision of what he wants, although not entirely sure what that is'. He said he definately wants to keep in touch and hang out at some point because he felt ' we had such a close connection'. Im completely besotted and know if I had the chance i could perhaps change his mind because he just didnt know me for long enough. This has really been getting me down and I dont want to give up. What should i do to try and fix this and develop and interest in me. im so confused and truth be told it's really depressing me and frustrating me because he's just so stubborn and set in his ways due to having such a hard life. Nausea and very acidic stomach? Side-effect of gallbladder surgery?

I had my gallbladder removed exactly a week ago (no stones...just non-functioning gallbladder) and due to the pain medications and the anisthethia I had extreme nausea and stomach pain (acidity). Since my return home from the hosptial and for the entire week, I have stopped taking the pain medications and have began to take Prilosec, pepto bismal, and aciphex for my acidic stomach. However...it doesn't seem to be working. I can't sleep. It is extremely uncomfortable. I still get waves of nausea. Are these normal side-effects of surgery? How long will it take for my stomach to settle down. It burns from my sternum to mid-belly. It makes me feel sick to my stomach. I will call the doctor tomorrow. But has anyone had this same experience? How did you cope with it to at least get comfortable and function on a daily basis? Any ideas on what this is or the cause of it?

How does a wet DS get fixed?

My son wet his DS while at Grandma's (he said it needed a bath). So I called the DS techs at Nintendo, they said to take the battery out and leave it out to dry by a window. I own a psp myself and people make homebrew for it (home-made games). How do they know how to make them How do they know what excactely to type to get a certain effect on a certain machine. My husband & I (second time for both of us) had a family BBQ - immediate family only - kids, parents, brothers & sisters, nieces & nephews. about an hour into the party my sister handed out invitations to everyone telling them to go to a certain part of the yard for our wedding. A friend who is a judge performed the ceremony, and we had a champagne toast after. My husband wore shorts & a "tropical" shirt, I wore a summery dress. It was really great - and very inexpensive. We hired a caterer to serve & clean up, but did most of the food ourselves. Our families & still comment that it was the best wedding they ever went to - no stress, no gifts, casual - a really good time!

i've posted this in health category but there's still no reply. i'm desperate for an answer so i posted it here. here goes. i'm in a foreign country away from my family. i'm in my early 40's. medium built. doing 50 push-ups every other day. been here for 7 months now. smoking at least average of 10 sticks a day but gradually removing it out of my system (guess it's too late). i started feeling pain in my right ribs 4 months ago and i thought it was only muscle pain or the weather then (8 degrees C) and it was tolerable then. i haven't had any accident. then the pain escalates now to the point that i cried and i'm shouting in my pillows because i don't want to be heard by my co-workers adjacent to my room. i don't want to go to hospital for fear that the result will lead to my early retirement. i couldn't afford to go home early because of our present economic plight (i still have to pay a lot of debts back in my home country and my family still needs remittance) and i'm almost sure that the result would be serious. recently, sores on my right ribs appeared and the pain is almost unbearable especially on nighttime. i virtually could not sleep when it attacks at least thrice a week. i could still work though, in each and every attack. just tell me what's causing this pain. professional opinion please. i really don't want to go to a hospital. and i'm ready to endure this. i just want to know what is it or better yet, how much time do i still have. thank you.

I'm a high school student and I think I have an irrational fear. Could you please tell me if this is irrational? At my school, I know there are individuals that take drugs. I love my boyfriend more than anything and have been with him for 1 and 1/2 years. He is 18 and I'm 20. We love each other and never fight and have a lot in common. Keeping a difficult horse fenced?

I have a two year quarter horse stallion. Camanchi is well manner, with a wonderful disposition. We don't have problems with him, with the exception of our pasture boundaries. He is in a pasture with his three "brothers" (our geldings), whom he get along with very well. Unfortunately, Camanchi won't stay! Houdini, we call him. We've been through every type of electric fence we could find, and recently tried a four cord fence, "guaranteed to keep stallions in"... it didn't work. We've even had professionals install the fences. Chi was a rescue horse, who our vet said will never be able to be ridden, so we don't want him stalled; we desperately want him to be able to just be turned out to pasture like he needs. The next step is a barbwire fence, something none of us like the idea of. We just know he'll hurt himself terribly. Is there any other solution?

Diesels must have their fuel filters changed every year. Have the fuel pressure checked also. From the sound of things I don't think it's over fueling or you'd see black smoke rolling out the exhaust pipe. I think it's running out of fuel because of the filters, injection pump or injection nozzles.

What are some ways that can help me calm my nerves?

Usually whenever i get nervous or something i start to feel really sick. such as my stomach gets real queasy, i have hot flashes, and anxious. and if i have anything in my stomach i will sometimes throw it up depending on how stressed i am. I feel really bad and just wish it would go away it doesn't go away until i have either done whatever i was nervous about but i cant always just go and do whats making me nervous. so anyone have tips on how i can just relax and calm my nerves? it would be really helpful for me :) thanks.
