Minks, as members of the weasel family (Mustelidae) are hunters and killers, just like ferrets. They will eat small rodents, birds, young rabbits and hares, and I even had one attack my cat. (My cat is not much of a hunter, but he brought me the mink after a really loud fight. Size does matter.). They can in turn be eaten by raptors, including some owls, snakes, and both felid and canid predators.
