Droid1 Asurion claim?

I shattered my Droid 1's screen yesterday. I've heard that Asurion doesn't replace D1's with D1's anymore, but with either a D2 or DX. Can anyone confirm/deny this and give me a little more insight into the process of making a claim with Asurion? Also, if this is true, how do they decide which phone you get?
