Best place for an outdoor adventure in West Virginia?

Im looking to take a trip in mid-september with some buds to WV for a week of outdoor adventuring. We're all pretty rugged individuals, and dont want to mess with a sissy trip. Im looking for someplace thats got the following rolled into a single area: rugged mountain / hill hiking, river for fishing and swimming(hopefully a canoe rental place nearby too), and primitive camping. Anyone know where I might find a place that has all these in WV? Thanks!
